HAMMER
TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NEW LOAD TEST SOLUTION
Wilmington,
MA - May 25, 1999 - Hammer Technologies announces the Hammer LoadBlasterä
series of bulk call generators. Both the Hammer LoadBlaster 500 and 300
models use the revolutionary Hammer TestBuilderä UI for test creation
and results reporting. The Hammer LoadBlaster 300 also carries the lowest
entry price in the industry for a one-span load test solution.
The new Hammer
TestBuilder User Interface provides an environment so that tests can be
set up quickly and intuitively, without programming, using stimulus/response
icons. As the test call flow is defined, a ladder diagram is built for
visual verification as the actions are selected. Real-time monitoring of
tests in progress is available with three different views, including the
convenience of an active ladder diagram view of call flow for at-a-glance
confirmation of test progression and test flow troubleshooting. Results
from each test can be viewed as a high level summary or with varying levels
of granularity, such as by channel or listing of time-stamped errors.
Seth Newberry,
Vice President of Marketing at Hammer stated, "In following Hammer's tradition,
the Hammer TestBuilder interface sets itself apart as the new standard
for ease of use in the bulk call generator market. The resultant benefit
to the customer is the lowest overall cost of ownership available today."
"An additional
benefit is that the intuitive test flow ladder diagram and generated reports
create a simple yet powerful communication tool that is easily captured
across the entire organization, said Art Michaud , Director of Product
Marketing for Hammer.
The Hammer LoadBlaster
500 scales to 12 spans in one system and with one master controller can
handle up to 60 spans in one view. That translates to 1,800 E1 channels
with a busy hour call rate in excess of one million calls per hour.
The Hammer LoadBlaster
300 is available as a one span load test system with a $9,800 list price.
