Quality Assurance
Testing Service to be Offered to Call Centers
Wilmington,
MA - March 31, 1999 - Hammer Technologies today announced a new
quality assurance testing service for call center telecommunications systems.
Hammer's Call Center Load Testing Service is a fixed-price service that
helps call centers verify that new or modified call center systems and
applications work properly under load before they are used by customers.
"This new service
makes it fast and easy for call centers to thoroughly test ACD, PBX, IVR,
and CTI systems and applications before they are deployed," said Bill Schymik,
General Manager of Hammer's Call Center Business Group. "Our consultants
handle everything from designing and running the tests to delivering a
written report on the test results. Call centers can benefit from the power
of automated testing without making a capital equipment purchase."
Hammer's Call
Center Load Testing Service makes it possible to test CTI and other call
center systems prior to deployment with thousands of automated test calls
that duplicate real world operating conditions. Hammer's consultants work
with clients to analyze requirements and develop a test plan that covers
up to ten different call flows and takes performance measurements at up
to 15 points across those call flows. Hammer's patented prompt recognition
capabilities even make it possible to test if the right prompts are playing
in IVR and other systems. Using Hammer automated test systems, Hammer consultants
will provide up to two consecutive days of load testing, working with clients
to analyze test results. At the end of the testing, clients are provided
with a written report documenting the test results.
Call Center
Load Testing can be used to verify call center capacities, trunk availability,
call routing, and CTI screen pop success. Call handling errors and bottlenecks
can be quickly identified along with timing problems in CTI controllers
and backend databases. Testing can be done by connecting directly to the
systems under test or by dialing in through the public switched network.
