HAMMER TECHNOLOGIES
TAKES LEAD IN CALL-CENTER
w/ INTEGRATED
SIMULATION AND TESTING TOOLS
Wilmington,
Mass. - February 4, 1997 - Hammer Technologies today announced a major
initiative to integrate its patented testing technologies with leading
Call Center solution providers.
A partnership
with Nabnasset Corporation has set a baseline for this unique capability.
Nabnasset is the first company in the computer/telephony integration (CTI)
industry to offer preconfigured testing tools for its CTI software. They
will offer add-on software and hardware testing tools for VESP® (Voice
Enhanced Services Platform), its flagship product. The customized VESP
software integrates the VESP and Hammer ITT systems to provide comprehensive
automated testing and service up-time assurance.. VESP software is used
by in-bound call centers throughout the world to provide customer service
agents with a variety of enhanced services capabilities, including instant
access to customer information scattered among servers throughout the enterprise.
"This integration
is in response to the growing requirement by major call center users for
absolute quality and reliability," said Steve Gladstone Hammer's General
Manager. "We are extremely pleased in offering Call-Center vendors like
Nabnasset, capabilities they can easily integrate to help provide their
customers the high quality systems and services they are demanding."
How Hammer's
Telephony Test System Integrates With VESP
Nabnasset will
incorporate elements of Hammer's telephony test system into VESP, enabling
users to automatically test VESP's interactive voice response (IVR) applications
at pre-set intervals. The VESP option will couple with modules available
for the Hammer IT, resulting with a seamless combination of a Hammer IT
test platform into the VESP system. IVR applications play a critical role
in VESP, because they gather key information from callers via voice prompts
and touch-tone responses. Should the IVR fail in any way, it can cause
callers to be routed to the wrong resource, or it can cause their calls
to be dropped. The Hammer IT/VESP module combination enables 24-hour per
day scheduling for early detection and correction of problems.
Additionally,
users can take advantage of Hammer' many automated load, feature and regression
testing abilities. Hammer's testing technology will also automatically
diagnose failures in other VESP components.
"Our goal of
the integration is to provide Nabnasset the ability to ensure reliability
and maximize their clients' return on investment through a single integrated
test solution," said Gladstone.
