Software Technical Support – Linux Platform


Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Fault isolation, identification and resolution within complex data signaling and multi vendor environments.
  • Installation and configuration Linux PC supporting complex Router, T1, Async and TCP/IP cards and protocols
  • Customer training of Midnight/Hammer application at customer locations
  • Creation/implementation of customer specific test scripting routines written in Linux
  • Assist in the development of new product/technology support collateral and process.
  • Service motivated team player. Contribute to mission of ever increasing service quality metrics
Education/Training/Skills/Experience Required:
  • Solid working knowledge of Linux on IBM compatibles
  • Voice and data signaling protocols and switch knowledge and experience.
  • Solid Linux, C++ or like language script development, preferably in a testing environments
  • BSCS or equivalent degree.
  • Passport and ability to travel a must.
