Technical Support – Linux Platform
Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Fault
isolation, identification and resolution within complex
data signaling and multi vendor environments.
- Installation
and configuration Linux PC supporting complex Router,
T1, Async and TCP/IP cards and protocols
- Customer
training of Midnight/Hammer application at customer
locations
- Creation/implementation
of customer specific test scripting routines written
in Linux
- Assist
in the development of new product/technology support
collateral and process.
- Service
motivated team player. Contribute to mission of ever
increasing service quality metrics
Education/Training/Skills/Experience
Required:
- Solid
working knowledge of Linux on IBM compatibles
- Voice
and data signaling protocols and switch knowledge
and experience.
- Solid
Linux, C++ or like language script development, preferably
in a testing environments
- BSCS
or equivalent degree.
- Passport
and ability to travel a must.
