First of all mother nature kept it snowing well into the spring causing us to have a minimal transition period from plowing to landscaping work. This was a task that I must admit we handled very well, and would like to thank our crews for adjusting so well to the tasks at hand. Now commercial property owners and landlords who purchased their property after May 5,2003 can take a whopping 52.5% depreciation allowance on all irrigation and landscape and construction improvements this year. The 2003 depreciation allowance does not apply to single family homeowners.
