Welcome to Project New Teachers!

In this lesson at Kearsarge High School, mentor teacher Art Ferrier has students using Inspiration to diagram their project, the Internet to research and find information and word processing to complete their reports.

This catalyst grant is funded by the US Department of Education under the Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to use Technology program (PT3).

"Project New TEACHERS" is a statewide consortium which has involved more than 40 partner institutions, including the teacher certification programs at New Hampshire's higher education institutions and several PreK-12 schools. The project provides resources for extensive restructuring activities that will result in new teachers being better prepared to use technology in the classroom.

The project began in June 2000 and will extend through May 2004.
