LS - Optical Grade Lamps

OPTICAL-GRADE LAMPS

Optical-grade light sources are uncalibrated, screened and seasoned lamps. Screening and seasoning ensure a reliable and stable light source that exhibits optimum repeatable results over a minimum of 50 hours, with proper handling. The lamp housing consists of a socket with mounting hardware to center the lamp filament at the sphere center with a 0.56 inch diameter mounting rod with a 1/4-20 thread. Cabling is provided for power connection to the Labsphere LPS Lamp Power Supplies. Optical-grade light source replacement lamps are sold in sets of three or individually.

Optional Kelvin Socket

The housing consist of a socket with mounting hardware to center the lamp filament at the sphere center. The socket has four gold plated contacts: two contacts carry current to the lamp and the remaining two contacts are for precise measurement of the voltage at the lamp base. The housing includes a 0.56 inch diameter mounting rod with a 1/4-20 thread. Cabling is provided for power and measurement connections.
