The versatile PSD-030 Photopic Sphere Detector Assembly is designed to function as a cosine receptor. The PSD-030 is ideal for capturing the illuminance at all angles within a larger integrating sphere. The assembly consists of a 3 inch diameter integrating sphere with an integral baffle. The interior of the sphere is coated with Spectraflect, a diffuse, highly reflective surface coating. A silicon detector filtered to yield a photopic response (400 - 700 nm) completes the assembly. The knife-edge 1.0 inch input port of the sphere detector assembly has a wide field-of-view necessary to make accurate illuminance measurements from any light source. An 8-32 rod mount with a base is also available.
