During the weekend, each person auditioning will be pulled aside for an individual marching and music audition. In addition to these individual auditions, your attitude, work ethic, and performance throughout the weekend will be taken into account as part of your overall audition performance.
Colorguard applicants will meet on Saturday and Sunday only but are welcome to come on Friday night.
Our policy as a drum corps is that school performances on your principal instrument or equipment are priorities. However, if you are given a performance spot, your attendance at all camps is critical to the success of the organization. Missing all or any part of a camp is only permitted in special cases which must be approved by the Corps Director and your Caption Head at least one week prior to the first day of the camp. You are also expected to make every reasonable effort to attend any part of a rehearsal that does not conflict with an approved event.
It is important to know that membership status is a continuing process. If you keep up with your attendance, preparation and financial commitments, you will have no problem retaining your spot. If not, there is a chance you may be removed from our roster.
