Barry Driscoll is
the founder of this family owned and operated Agency. He began his career in 1952
at the Kemper Insurance Company in Boston, following in his father's footsteps
as a commercial lines underwriter. In 1960 he left the security of the big corporation
(and a guaranteed annual base salary of $5,400) to venture out on his own as an
independent agent. He rented a desk in a high-rise in downtown Boston, and shared
a secretary. The result, 40 years later, is an Agency that is a major player in
the Massachusetts insurance marketplace. We provide insurance services to hundreds
of businesses and thousands of individuals throughout the region. We currently
employ over 35 insurance professionals, many of whom have been with the Agency
for more than 10 years. The Agency and its employees maintain an active role in
many professional trade associations. We also believe in giving back to the community,
and continually support many local nonprofit and charitable organizations.
Our Agency
is now in its second generation. The depth of our Management Team in both experience
and insurance expertise is stronger than ever. We continue to make investments
in staff, employee education, and technology in order to provide our clients with
the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art information and service available.
The
Driscoll family takes our business personally and takes pride
in our work, our customer relationships, our employees and our
reputation earned over the past forty years.
