WHAT
ARE THEY?
Screen Art magnets were initially designed for the
safety of anyone who has a screen sliding door. There are times you think
it may be open, yet quickly learn it is closed! Minor accidents like walking
into it happen to people as well as pets. With a "Screen Art" design
in place, it visually lets one know to "stop" ... the screen is closed.
This concept caught on quick. Our marketing team had other ideas
for the product -- patch a hole or tear was fast and easy --- considerably
cheaper than total replacement. Arrangements on a pool cage
or lanai using multiple designs can be fun and full of life. Large boat
and RV owners also find them useful.
But,
what exactly are they? They are of flexible, rubberized
magnetic material in die-cut designs of two magnets. They are then
separated and placed back to back with the screen in between each magnetic
piece.
They work on any type of screen,
will not rust, and will stand up to adverse weather conditions.
Use on any metal surface as a decorative magnet. Put them on your car,
van, or truck side panels. Highway travel or car-wash cycles -- they
continue to stay in place!
For
those who are creative, you can paint them. Lighthouse/Angel
Fish/ Hummingbird designs are popular for that reason. Some
clever people turn them into their own work of art using this method and
sell them at arts & craft shows, swap meets, flea markets for profit...
thus how name "Screen Art" was born.
