Plug-and-Play Telephony Device Now in Beta Release

March 7, 2000, CT Expo, Los Angeles, CA - MediaPhonics today announced beta release of its new PhoneRider-USB telephony device for messaging, conferencing, logging and IP telephony. By fully supporting the industry standards Universal Serial Bus (USB) specification and Microsoft TAPI 3.0, PhoneRider-USB provides advanced computer telephony functionality along with unprecedented ease
of installation for developers of intelligent client solutions in the call center, communication server, and unified messaging markets. PhoneRider USB is particularly well suited for Internet telephony in web-enabled, distributed, small and remote call centers, and large call centers requiring logging. The plug and play device is installed by simply plugging into the back of any USB-enabled PC, allowing quick and easy installation without opening the computer.

PhoneRider-USB features include dynamic media streaming, full duplex DSP, support of all TAPI 3.0 functions including IP telephony, full duplex speakerphone, and unequalled handset/headset management.
