At each ELC you may choose
to stay with an American family, share dormitory life with fellow students, or
enjoy the privacy of your own apartment. Whichever living accommodations you decide
are best for you, the Housing Coordinator in Los Angeles, Boston, Santa Barbara
or Harvard Square will gladly help arrange them. |

Most
ELC students are eager to take advantage of
the family homestay opportunity available year-round
at all four centers. Along with the chance to
improve conversation skills, homestays can create
warm friendships that last a lifetime.
Homestay
Highlights:
- Choose full board (includes
3 meals per day), halfboard (includes 2 meals per day), or bed and breakfast (includes
breakfast only)
- Always in a single room
- One student per linguistic
background per family
- Arrive on Saturday or Sunday
prior to course start date and depart on Saturday or Sunday following last day
of course
- Always within 60 minutes
of school by public transportation
