Thermo Vision Colorado and the Year
2000.
Thermo Vision
Colorado recognizes the importance of providing our customers with
products that will continue to function correctly during the Year
2000 and beyond.
Our
Products.
It is our goal to ensure that our customers can continue to use
our Current Products and our Discontinued Products (as defined below)
during and after the Year 2000. Accordingly, all products sold are
Year 2000 Compliant.
As part of our
Year 2000 Program, Thermo Vision Colorado will work with past customers
who are using our Obsolete Products (defined below) to find appropriate
solutions to Year 2000 compliance issues. We will provide our customers
with information regarding each product's compliance status, as
well as guidance regarding upgrades or alternative solutions, where
possible.
Our
Stand-Alone Products.
Certain of our products can be used either on a stand-alone basis
or as part of a system. If we have indicated that a pr oduct is
compliant on a stand-alone basis, you should not assume that it
is necessarily compliant when used as part of a system. If you are
using a stand-alone product as part of a system, you should check
the compliance status of the entire system.
Our
Internal Business Systems.
Thermo Vision Colorado is evaluating its internal business systems
for Year 2000 compliance. All required upgrades or modifications
have been completed. In addition, Thermo Vision Colorado is contacting
its key vendors/suppliers to assess their YEAR 2000 readiness.
Third
Party Hardware and Software.
The Year 2000 compliance status of any hardware, software or firmware
not manufactured by Thermo Vision Colorado is your responsibility
(they were not included in our evaluation) and you should contact
the manufacturer directly. However, specific details regarding full
compliance and future year limits should be addressed directly with
the manufacturer.
Customer
Commitment.
We recognize the importance of this issue to our customers. If you
have any additional questions, please contact our Technical Support
Department. Also, we hope you are taking steps to assure that you
too will be ready to do business in the 21st Century.
Nothing in this
statement is intended to modify rights and obligations under any
agreement or to create any new rights or obligations between Thermo
Vision Colorado and our customers. The information available from
Thermo Vision Colorado concerning the Year 2000 is provided for
the sole purpose of assisting our customers in their planning for
the transition to the Year 2000.
