Thermo Vision Colorado's
specialty is liquid handling automation. We offer two lines of XYZ
robotic systems to choose from, the
Automation Stations, for ultimate capability, and the
Prep Stations, for reliable, low cost solutions. Each of our liquid
handling systems incorporates our Universal Device Platform that accommodates
all microplates and test tube racks individually or in mixed combinations.
This gives you the ultimate in automation flexibility now, and as
your needs change.

Our
and
robotic systems increase throughput in laboratories involved in:
- Titration
- Molecular
biology
- Immunoassay
testing
- Environmental
testing
- High throughput
screening (HTS)
- pH and other
probe measurements
- Combinatorial
and clinical chemistry
- Quality assurance
and quality control
The
and
robotic systems automate more and more analytical procedures.
Some of the tasks they perform today include:
- Pooling
- Diluting
- Extracting
- Collecting
- Dispensing
- Transferring
- Reformatting
- Serial-dilution
- Cherry picking
- Reagent addition
- Fraction

- Autosampling
from vials
- Autosampling
from bottles
- Autosampling
from beakers
- Autosampling
from test tubes
- Autosampling
from microplates
Optionally,
the
and
stations can be configured with:
- Septa-piercing
- Multiple
probes
- Disposable
pipette tip systems
The
Automation Stations represent our most advanced series of liquid
handling systems. The
Automation Stations were developed with input from our customers
about the directions laboratory liquid handling automation is and
will be taking. The
Automation Stations are engineered to be reliable, flexible, modular,
fast, and precise.
Prep Stations are ideal if you need a low cost and reliable XYZ
robotic system. Thehas
been continuously updated and refined as our customers' requirements
evolved. The new
Prep Stations incorporate Vista
software and the Universal Device Platform. We have thousands
ofPrep
Stations operating in the field.
Our Vista
software builds both ease-of-use and flexibility into our
and
liquid handling systems. Vista software
is application focused and uses a Windows® based Graphical User
Interface (GUI) that employs ordinary commands such as "Select"
and "Drag-and-Drop". Device control, workspace population,
and robotic motion control are conveniently managed with this user-friendly
software. The user strings together the steps for an application,
gives it a name and saves it for use and reference. No programming
expertise is required and the use of cryptic programming languages
and complicated command files is eliminated.
