Blood Separation

StatSpin's prepared microtubes are quick and easy to use — serum (red top), plasma (green top) or gel tube (clear top). Quality separations in only 30-90 seconds. Microtubes fit RT12 tube rotor.

Tube Rotors

RT12
Microtube Rotor, accepts 2 tubes. Precision fabricated, high speed rotor accepts a variety of StatSpin tubes as well as standard 1.5-2 mL microcentrifuge tubes (neck supported only). StatSpin RT12 Rotor
RM02
Microtainer Rotor, accepts 2 tubes. Similar to RT12 Rotor but accepts BD Microtainers® only (8 mm diameter).

 

 

LipoClear (Learn More)

Simple, effective way to clear lipemia from 0.5 or 1.5 mL of serum or plasma. Five minute room temperature incubation followed by a 90 second cycle in your StatSpin (a bit longer in other centrifuges). Convenient predispensed reagent tubes, non-toxic, one-year shelf life if kept refrigerated. Tubes fit RT12 tube rotor; can also be used in MP as well as other centrifuge brands.

Urine Sediment

StatSampler
