1st Place Winner, Excellence in Construction Award; National Award Winner
Manchester International Airport

This $1.5 million project won first place from the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapters of the Associated Builders and Contractors. In addition, this project was awarded the prestigious honor of an Excellence In Electrical Construction Award from the Independent Electrical Contractors.

This 2-month project consisted of the installation of six Explosive Detection Systems, as well as new baggage handling/conveyor systems. Interstate responded to post 9-11 security needs and completed the renovations by the deadline set by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration. As a result, Manchester International Airport was the first airport nationwide to comply with the regulations.

Ronald McDonald House

This expansion and renovation project won first place from the Rhode Island Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors.

This project was part of a significant expansion and renovation for Ronald McDonald House in Providence, RI. Interstate provided network systems, electrical upgrade services, and information technology installation services. The result was faster, more reliable network service.

   
Longyear Museum Merit Award Winner
Harvard Business School

This 5-month, $775,000 project won a Merit Award from the Massachusetts Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors.

The endeavor consisted of installing over 16,000 feet of fiber, 5,000 feet of EMT pipe, and 49,000 feet of inner duct. The result was the successful linking of 14 Harvard Business School buildings, providing faster and more reliable network communications.

1st Place Winner, Excellence in Construction Award; Merit Award Winner; National Award Winner (ABC)
Wyeth Bio Pharma

This $15 million project won first place from the Rhode Island Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors for the planning and installation of complex control systems. The Massachusetts Chapter bestowed a Merit Award for electrical construction on commercial and industrial projects over $1 million. This project was also honored with a national Excellence In Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of America.

This multi-million dollar expansion of the Wyeth/Genetics Institute Andover campus encompassed the construction of new manufacturing and fabrication facilities. Interstate performed process controls, instrumentation, and electrical construction on the project.

   
Starwood Hotel Merit Award Winner
Holman Stadium

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Vermont and New Hampshire honored Interstate with a Merit Award for restoration and upgrades at Holman Stadium in Nashua, NH.

The winning project involved a $4.5 million restoration of the historic baseball stadium. The renovation was completed to enlarge the stadium, improve technology, and enhance safety systems. This project consisted of new electrical, lighting, life safety, security and technology upgrades.
