IMSpost Version 7.2 Adds NewFeatures, Integrated NC Verification

Postprocessor Creation Wizard
A postprocessor creation wizard simplifies the creation of new postprocessors, guiding the user selection of the NC controller, machine configuration, operator preferences, formatting, and many other areas. The familiar post checklist is integrated into the wizard, and available at its completion for postprocessor editing. Configuration of multi-axis postprocessors including pivot point information and rotary table offsets is greatly simplified.
Integrated Verification
IMSverify is a new module providing integrated NC verification, including material removal and collision checking between tool, holder, stock and fixtures. The user interface provides the user with synchronized views of the CAM output (APT/CL), machine G-code, and graphic simulation of the tool motion and material removal. Affordably priced, IMSverify brings world-class G-code verification to every CAM seat.
Intelligent Start Point Selection
For multi-axis machining it is often desirable to choose an initial direction for the machine motion, to reduce the need for retraction and re-orientation. Intelligent start point selection in IMSpost 7.2 allows the user to select the optimum initial motion for every program.
Pattern Recognition with Subroutine Creation
New pattern recognition capability scans the NC program and identifies sections of standard features (pockets, bosses, etc.) with repeating codes, and automatically generates controller subroutines to machine these features. This results in smaller, more efficient and easier-to-read NC programs.
