IMS and Geometric partnership to help reduce total cost of ownership for machining houses
August 7, 2012 – IMS Software, developer of IMSpost for CNC postprocessing and IMSverify for CNC verification and simulation, today announced that they haveentered into a software licensing agreement with Geometric, a leader in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Global Engineering Services, and Offshore Software Product Development (OSPD) solutions and technologies. Geometric will license IMSverify technology from IMS to provide G-code verification and machine simulation within CAMWorks®, its unique parametric, knowledge-based CNC machining software.
