Go to the Student Blackboard

Click the checkbox as you complete each step (double-click to erase).

Open the blackboard by clicking the Blackboard button to the left.

Click the mouse between the <TITLE> and </TITLE> tags in the Student Blackboard.

Type the following:

This is My Page Title

Click the View It button. You need to look at the very top of the browser window to see your title.

Select the Favorites (Internet Explorer) or Bookmarks (Netscape) option from the browser window that contains your new title.

Notice that the text each browser uses for Favorites/Bookmarks is the same text you entered for the TITLE element! Keep in mind that this same TITLE element text is also used by the browsers for their History log.

Close any open windows and click the Next button to continue the course.....
