Course Objectives

Students who complete the course will be able to read and write the HTML code for:

• HTML file segments

• Paragraphs, formatted text, and headers

• Unnumbered, numbered, and glossary lists

• Tables (including headers, captions, and cell layout)

• Images and hyperlinks

• Attaching External Cascading Style Sheets

In addition, you will be able to identify:

• Internet protocols, servers, IP addresses
• Source and destination anchors in a hyperlink

There are a number of tests throughout the course that ensure the objectives are met. The tests ask you to recognize (read) and recall (write) HTML code.

The final exam at the end of the course is graded.

You may retake each test as many times as is necessary to feel confident about the material.
