Lists

Other than paragraphs and headings, the next most common way of communicating information is through the use of lists. Lists can be used to indicate a set of items, or steps in a process. In addition, in the HTML world, lists are also the mechanism for developing glossaries (also called Definition Lists).

There are three main types of lists in HTML:

* Ordered Lists (1,2,3...a,b,c...i.ii.iii etc.)
* Unordered Lists (circle, square, unfilled etc.)
* Definition Lists (glossaries with terms & definitions)
