A processor recently
contacted Admix regarding
issues they were having with
their current powder feed
blenders. They were
experiencing slow powder
feed rates, maintenance
issues and the need to use a
rubber mallet to eliminate
bridging and induce better
feed rates. The customer
ran a trial with a Fastfeed
unit and saw a
50-75% improved powder feed
rate over the
previous method of
blending. In addition to
addressing the powder feed
issues, the Fastfeed
completely dispersed
the ingredient in a
single pass.

From low shear blending to high shear
milling, Admix has a mixing solution that's

Rotosolver in-tank batch mixer, but did you
know that we also offer a broad range of
inline equipment including
the DynaShear and Boston Shearmill mixing
and milling devices, as well as Admixer
static blenders?
Our inline mixing equipment can be found in
hundreds of prepared foods, beverage,
personal care and pharmaceutical plants
processing a variety of products.
Applications range from simple
blending to maintain particulates
or adding fruit into yogurt to
texturizing soups and creating
emulsions for creams and
lotions. Our milling equipment is used for
high shear
maceration of whole beans to make
refried bean paste,
pureeing
fruits and vegetables,
