Audio Software Engineer
Duties/Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Responsible for audio quality measurement in Hammer's VOIP product set
- Design and implement NT based software to provide measurement based on industry standards
- Develop efficient, scalable and portable solutions that can be integrated into Hammer's product line
- Work with our marketing department and out customers to define audio quality products
- Track industry standards, research, and commercial trends
Education/Training/Skills/Experience Required:
- 3-5 years software development in a Microsoft NT development environment
- C/C++
- Audio or speech processing, signal processing, DSP preferred
- Telecommunications testing, transmission systems a plus
- Knowledge of ITU, IEEE, ANSI, ETSI, or other audio standards a plus
- BSEE, BSCS or equivalent
