Manager Technical Documentation
Manage the technical documentation
group of an exciting computer telephony test company. This is an
opportunity to be a leader of a rapidly growing organization that is
central to the success of the company.
Technical Environment Elements:
- Windows NT on IBM compatible
PC
- Visual Basic Compatible
Language
- ODBC compatible data
base/embedded SQL
- Telephony and data
communications
Requirements:
- Ability to lead a small group
of technical documentation professionals by providing day-to-day
guidance as well as setting the longer term documentation
strategy.
- Good project management skills
across multiple simultaneous projects
- Ability to work in a team
setting.
- Desire and ability to work
closely with the Sales and Marketing organizations to help
satisfy customer needs.
- Good oral and written
communication skills
- Familiarity with Robohelp
or other similar package to create MS Windows help files
- Experience in documenting
end-user turnkey systems with significant software content
- Some knowledge of programming
languages required, familiarity with Visual Basic or
Microsoft Basic highly desirable
- BS Degree or equivalent
Additional Pluses:
- Telephony experience (analog,
T1, E1, ISDN, SS7)
- Prior Management or project
leader experience
